dunno how right this is but i was told that companies look at limits as if you already owed the entire amount. i wouldnt think it would be good. i still think credit almost like heroin..its just too easy to pretend you can afford something and end up over your head in it, a first one at 12,000? are you sure? also they may lower it later and try to get her overlimit..but ok i digress. i dont think its good for your credit. they will look at it like she has already spent it.
