Look, I have been been in your position before and know how you feel. More than once, to be exact. As much as the Hounds of Despair nip at your heels, understand that it *does* get better! Understand that it's JUST money, and no one can put a value to a life. I don't care if they're suing you for MILLIONS, it's not worth your life.

And understand that there are many, many ways to avoid a judgment. That a large number of judgments are NEVER collected even when obtained. And if you take yourself out, they'll just shrug and write it off, because it's ONLY MONEY.

Tap into that rage that lies deep in your chest and FIGHT THEM. The collection industry is highly regulated by state and federal law, and there are laws to protect you if they don't toe the line. USE THEM!! Use them to your advantage, as they were meant to be used, and fight these cowards!

And above all, remember that you are definitely NOT alone. There is great wisdom and knowledge in this forum. Just reach out and someone will help and support you.
