This is probably a stupid question, but here goes...
I have a car loan which I am 4 months behind on. I lost my job and just got a new one. I have not called the loan company because I was not sure when or how much I could pay to get back on track. I have about $14,000 in this car already so I don't want to lose it. Needless to say, they have gone to my Grandmother's house looking for me and they came to my house last night. I did not answer the door and the car was locked in the garage. If I call them, they will want to know where I work and if I tell them they will show up at my new job and take the car or really mess things up for me here. I am going to make a payment on Monday but I know they will want money NOW!

What info. do I have to give them. I would like to call them instead of write so that the repo. guys will go away but I just don't know what to say.

Any suggestions?
