Egads, but I wish it were so! Alas, they can indeed summon you with any number of permutations of your first and/or last name. The summons I got had names on it that they obviously made up! Seems that they tried every variation they could think of, regardless of whether I'd ever used any of them legally or casually. Confused the heck out of the court clerks, to say the least.
