My understanding is that once the account is sold/or assigned (exception would be if assigned and it goes back to CA as uncollectible) You can no longer deal with the orginal creditor. Never a good idea to communicate with a CA. So, yes, let it do as it will do, CA to CA. Ignore it unless you actually get sued. If you get sued, act aggressively. You should be protecting your assets now.
