I received a summons to go to court over a credit line and a credit card from a credit union. The account was opened in 1991 and they say the last activity was in 2000. The creditor does not appear on ANY of the Three Bureau reports at all. I owe $12000 not including court costs. Do I negotiate and if I need to show up to court what do I do. This is the first correspondence I have had from them in about 7 years.
