When was the last time you paid them. Did you pay them in 2000. SOL in Pa. is 4 years for open accounts, I think it is 6 years for written contracts. Is this an open account( revolving line of credit) or a loan? I really don't have all of the answers, but I am asking the questions so that more experienced posters will have some info and be able to answer you. If this has dropped off of your credit report, something does not sound right. Have you called the courthouse to make sure that a law suit has been filed. NEVER IGNORE A LAW SUIT. IT MUST BE ANSWERED. Were you handed a summons?
