Very interesting--

It's more common that you think for law firms to send things to the wrong person. I had a fax number in Miami that was one digit off from a big firm's and every few months I'd get a multipage proposed real estate deal covered "CONFIDENTIAL" which was funny the first couple times but annoying eventually.

Also once in a civil rights case, the Attorney General's office decided to file suit against one of my clients and prepared the summons, complaint, cover sheet, and check for the filing fee--and then mailed it accidentally to ME instead of the clerk of court! I called them about it and they said oooops, just please please send that back. Embarrassment city.

However, in your case Scott, since you're a high profile target, I think this is more than a coincidence. I didn't get to read all of the other thread yet but send it to the real consumer and don't make or keep any copies. If you haven't already done that.

To nail you for snooping in her records, they would have to show that you requested the CBR--without a good reason--and I doubt they can do that.
