This debt and lawsuit if from the Original Creditor. I believe that I stopped paying somewhere around 2000. One was an "revolving line of credit" account ($7500) and the other one is a VISA card ($1100).

I had to go to the post office to sign for two seperate certified letters today (civil action hearing notice.) Neither of these accounts are currently on my credit reports. They were former charge offs that were challenged and the creditor never responded so they came off ALL of the reports.

Should I challenge this lawsuit and in what recourse or attempt to make some sort of an arrangement to pay with the OC? Can they just go into to my report and put a lien/judgement on with no prior tradeline on my credit report?
