The SOL was not reset. It *may* have tolled between April and August, meaning that you'd add four months to the end of the SOL period. But the start of the SOL will remain the same.

But if it was dismissed due to "want of prosecution" and they didn't try to refile within a year, it may not be tolled at all. I'm not familiar with Ohio law, but I'm sure there are others on the forum who could tell you for sure.
