Macys credit card at 16???

Hello all... I need help/advise with this one. When I was 16, I was dating this girl who was much older than me. She opened a Macys card and put me on there, despite I was 16. Well needless to say she stopped paying we went our separate ways. That was back in 1997. The card was charged off in 1999. I am trying to remove it from my credit reports. Have disputed with all 3 and came back verified with all 3, one interesting note is that on one CRA report the status of joint changed to "shared, but otherwise undesignated." I am going to contact Macys, but what should I write to them, any thoughts, suggestions. Thank you. :)
