If they have not produced anything but statement printouts, it is likely they don't have anything else. However, they may have been judge shopping and found one that will tend to rule in their favor. (There is one really bad judge in Florida). Also remember that lawyers and judges see each other all the time, so they have a relationship. You really need to hire an attorney to help you with this. If you win (and you might) you will get back your attorneys fees. If they can not prove the debt, you might not have to pay. I can personally attest to this. Both recently and many years ago, when an attorney appeared on my side, the whole game changed. You may think you can not afford it, but it will be worth every penny you pay. Go to www.naca.net and call all the attorneys there. Also look at their yellow pages ad and see if any of them identify themselves as consumer attorneys. Good luck to you
