Paid Repo - need advice

Posted this also on crediboards - not getting much response, what do you guys think.... Looking through my reports for my next victim and I focus on the one that has me the most nervous (due to difficulty) outside of my never changing incorrectly reporting Discover TL - My repo from 1999 (OC TMCC). Car repo'd in early 4th qtr 99 sold approx. 30 days later. Lease agreement originated in KY, repo'd in OH, sold at auction in KY. I paid a CA to settle the acct before I got to this wonderful site - it was the only baddie my mtg lender wouldn't let me not deal with. I negotiated a settlement to the CA - sent them the check was told I would get a letter - never saw it (suprise suprise). I smartly worded the letter to say acceptance of payment enclosed setlles any and all obligations to OC and their reps for the ref'd acct - not like it really means anything, however its part of my paper trail. It was sent Express USPS and signed for by a rep of thier co. (again before I came here and became eduacted).... ANYWAYS - how do I deal with this now? THe CA has never reported to the CRAs. The OC is reporting as a CO on all 3 CRAs with the after sale balance and it looks like last reporting from the OC was back in 1999. I read up at Why Chat's site and because of my payment to the CA and the fact the State of origination and repo are not the same, i'm confused if I can proceed with deficiency dispute and how. What do you all think? Any adivce would be appreciated!
