Dear WhyChat,
Approximately 2 years ago I followed the timely information that you provided on this very site to have bogus claims by Calvary Investments successfully removed from my 3 credit reports.
Yesterday, I spoke with a mortgage broker about refinancing my home. My intention was to replace my 25 year @ 6.25% with a 15 year/4.375%. Today he called to tell me that I was denied due to derogatory info on my CR from Calvary! I absolutely exploded!!!
To compound the situation, it was just 2 weeks ago that I cleaned out my old files and discarded all my old paperwork from my go-round with Calvary, thinking that it was a dead issue. If you can tell me what steps I can take this time I will certainly be most appreciative. Also, can I sue Calvary and/or the CRA's for the thousands of $$$ this denial could potentially cost me? If not for this BS info on my CR, I would have perfect credit. Thanks for all your help and the help you provide for others.
