First, get copies of your credit reports, snail mail, not over the internet, then opt out, instructions on my website.

Next fix all the obvious errors, such as misspelled names, delete old addresses. Then after reading CAREFULLY all the "newcomer" info. on creditboards.com.Ask on that board any "repair" questions" you may have.

Read other posts that ma deal with your questions, find them by using the search feature on that board.Creditnet.com has good info in it also for repair techniques,( in the top posts on faqs. etc.) but I do NOT suggest you post any questions there, as they seem to get a lot of misinformation posted in response.
