See, the opposite is true. You pay them, the OC doesn't get paid back. CA does in fact report this to the CRA and your credit is ruined. Far better for your credit report to show you owe poop-fly CA's money than that you've actually paid them.

Paying these pukes also alerts other CA's to easy prey, as does blood in the water to sharks. But wait - it gets better.

You never really pay these jerkxxx's and get rid of them. Paid in full is a relative term. Inventive little whipworms that they are, they keep coming back for more. The interest on the 'forgiveness fee', the 'late fee' in the 'one time courtesy payment waiver' fee, etc, much as you can never really pay a loan shark in full.

See, it's all the opposite. To avoid further collection activity....may imply they are already in violation of FDCPA rules and should cease from further activity, nothing to do with you but for the fact you are their intended victim.

Welcome to the board. CA's are to the new millenium what 'Mafia Protection Racketeers were to the last bloody century. Except that mob 'wiseguys' have character, honor, courage, integrity, as compared with the ilk of CA chivato poop-splats.
