Charles Soffar, according to the Martindale.com website, is an attorney in Houston, Texas. He's about 55 years old, which makes him well above the age of reason. In short, he's no excuse for his conduct.

The FTC needs to hear about this poop-fly carrion bird, as does the Texas Bar association. Not only may this scumbag not call persons other than yourself - a violation - he may not make false representation as to the law governing whom he calls - another violation. He's making up rules as he goes along. He makes up his reality as he goes along. Just as do so many psycho-socio types. In other words, a 'collections professional'. And as a professional, he has no excuse for his conduct, he's considered to be an expert in his field, and thus is knowingly violating the rules.

Is this dirtbag licensed to practice law and/or collect in NC? Why not call the NC Bar and NC AC and find out. Perhaps you can arrange some more 'commendations' for this most interesting little fellow.

Remember the words of a former banking skindustry lawyer, "No one willingly devolves to the level of collections lawyer. Not even an ambulance chaser would degrade himself by stooping to that level. These are people with no options and marginal, at best, legal aptitude."

But like every jailhouse laywer, they're plenty cunning, so commence immediately the process of swatting away this outhouse doot-fly excuse of an in-lieu wannabe abogado.
