Now, for additional fun and merriment, call the FTC tomorrow morning, start a complaint, submitted written evidence to follow up. Copies to your state AG, the BBB, and the MI AG - home state of this collagenous collection of kibbled dog-doots, so well deserving of a prompt squashing by the bootheel of legal remedies. But why mess up perfectly fine footwear?
The higher is the complaint pile, the harder it eventually tumbles, perhaps to the eventual deserved reward of AssXXXX Acceptic Crap-o-ration. Fine scumpany that it is.
This is their trademark parlor trick, by the by. We all have a friend whose beloved pooch endears itself to one and all in attendance at the annual party by voiding on the coat pile. Fine parlor trick.
We all know indulgent parents who find it 'cute' when their kids behave in grossly antisocial ways in at social gatherings. Future criminals, or worse, collections professionals.
Yet AssXXXX sticks to the tried and true. Re-age the debt, a cheap -and illegal-way to steal more time by which to sue.

See to it their lil' ol' trick costs them dearly.

Cheaply,

Keyser Soze
