I am not 100% on this, but I think ssdi is assistance someone gets if they have not worked and did not pay into social security. If that is the case, this person is probably disabled for life. If you have some medical problems, and are working, that is a whole different situation because your situation is only temporary. That is why bk would make sense for you. When you mentioned medical bills, are you talking about a 200.00 doctor bill, or a 20,000 hospital bill? Are you talking about a lot of money in medical bills?
