You asked for validation. They refused. This violates FTC law. They are to cease all collection activity until validating. Which they have not. This sounds stinkingly like renowned DelRay fecalith H.B. Shatfitz, Esq., a real blow-getter of an abogado. His fartner in slime, Mitchell 'Dumpy' Dinkin, teaches "Advanced Collection Techniques" to paying CA thugs. You can just imagine that which is meant by 'advanced'.
Even if it ain't, this is still a CA lawfirm. Remember, "no lawyer willingly devolves to the level of a collection attorney. Even ambulance chasers refuse to perform collection work."
Issuer of that quote, a former banking skindustry lawyer of fine repute. Report these scumbags. Preempt their slimy lawsuit by filing federal complaint against them.
In so doing, figuratively by legal means you puncture their aorta before they strike the initial blow.

Blowsily,

Keyser Soze
