house is with centex equity at 8.75.old one was 8.25 until citi screwed us so bad during the BK..foreclosing on us DURING it... ummm dunno the truck..its a red carpet lease so i can turn it back in a year and get another. have to have wheels due to so many trips to doctors and such. closing cost was...figured into the note which will be paid off in 3 years anyways. my point was..had it ruined our credit i would have been better off. as it was..i didnt learn my lesson..and got into credit cards again..no i dont have the 3% interest or whatever but without the BK i wouldnt had it anyways. sometimes BK is the only way out. i found it didnt really hurt us much at all. i wish it would have,. oh yeah, no prepay penalty. think thats all you asked lol. just curious why u thought BK was "nuclear winter" as u put it, wasnt near that bad. what was bad was me being stupid to get credit again. and i still get offers!!! even tho i have opted out. for people who have a choice of drowning in debt or BK..i wanted them to know..BK is not the end of the credit world is all. since obviously if one is filing..one is screwed anyways. i expect to pay higher interest. prolly for the next 25 years! lol. but one can get cars or houses..etc. and wayyy to many credit cards. i got a radio shack..cap one..my stupidity but still...i think the only one who turned us down was wal mart. chevron still likes us..shrug*...2 sides to everything!!! thanks for replying..:) yes, im current on what i do have now and hope it helps the -25 credit rating we have now. :) i was amazed after the BK how flooded..literally flooded..with credit offers we had. platinum crap..u name it.
