Thank you Prune Man for your reply. I went to see a lawyer to ask him if he could go to court for me to negotiate with citibank's scumbag attorney. Instead, he said why waste time, just file bankcruptcy, and save the money. I really want to pay some back to citibank. I don't want to file bankcruptcy. He said once you settle with one creditor, the others will file suits. Is he correct? Can I settle with one creditor and not disclose in my credit report? The lawyer just said file bankcruptcy. He doesn't give me or suggest me another choice.
