Unlicensed CA in IL (Credigy)

I have a negative TL for a collection account with Credigy on my EQ report. I searched and it appears Credigy is not licensed in Illinois, where i live. I'm feeling good about getting this off my report. The debt is still under SOL though, for another 2 years. What is my next step? Wait until SOL expires then dispute with the CA? OR do I dispute now, since they aren't a licensed CA in Illinois?
