I'm about to file Ch. 7. I'm gathering all the info right now. I just wanted some expert advice on whether it's really the right thing for me. Here's the facts: 30K in debt (CC, furniture, and repossessed car payoff) Married, wife can't work at the moment. I have $0 extra cash at end of month. Currently have $2K in bank due to tax return. Only my car debt is still with OC I'm currently living in a one bedroom apt, and we want to move out. But we can't get into anything else because of the bad credit. So I want to file Ch 7 so that in a couple years, we can get a home loan and purchase a home. If I don't file BK, then I don't forsee getting out of our apartment...ever. My credit it trashed anyway. There is NO way I can repay my debts. I don't see how BK could hurt me, and I'm pretty sure I qualify. Do you see a brighter way out of this hole I've gotten myself into?
