CA will try bluffing, sending an illegible copy of a copy of a fax of your alleged signed contract, maybe a home-made poopsheet with your name, the amount they claim you owe, and some official looking numbers and data characters.
Typical, and a violation, worse than not validating, as experts in their field they know better.

Validation means they send you all the monthly statements from when account was opened to when it was closed, listing all charges and payments.

Anything less constitutes violations, good cause for you to nail them.

Don't ask for validation when in SOL. When past, always do so. CA's generally can't validate properly as they don't have the OC records, and some OCs don't, either.

All a game of posturing by these sleazeball CA's, with all to real human costs to health, wellbeing, misery, finances.

Be sure you play for keeps. They tickle you with some stupid shakedown letter? Make you reply vigorous, comprehensive, merciless within the letter of the law. Bash them with every legal method at your command.

Bashingly,

Keyser Soze
