Disappeared, missing in action. Consider the name Baodicea, Celtic Queen of the Iceni. Though the Iceni lost the battle against the Roman army ca. 60, Baodicea, her daughters and Celtic warriors so thoroughly demolished Londinium (London) and other cities by fire that the will of the once callous Romans was permanently damaged. The revolt led by Baodicea precipitated the ultimate withdrawal from the British Isles.
The revolt was caused by injury compounded by insult, the Romans gulty of the same aberrant behavior as CA's.
Rome retreated from the British Isles, unprecedentally declaring the Celts to be undefeatable.
The Romans conquered purely for purposes of commerce, whatever the Romans were selling, the Celts weren't buying. Courage trumped greed.
