To file BK or not TX.

I have been sued for debt in state of TX. and CITI will be next. Equity in car soon but all personal accounts closed. They can't go after house but what about car and does this mean I can't open any bank or equity accounts for the next 7 to 10 years, even joint checking with wife. I would hate to have house payment bounce due to frozen account with wife. If I file BK can judgements be included? Retirement accounts should be exempt?? I am surprised they moved on judgement in months of non-payment. Attorney contacted but believe I received bad advice. Feedback greatly appreciated.
