I've never heard of anyone in TX losing their car if it was primary transportation.

Also, before you consider BK, consider whether the amount of debt you owe is worth it. The BK is a stain on your credit for a long time.

I am fighting Citi right now and fully expect to win. They keep really lousy records on their accounts considering what is at stake. They might also make misleading or false statements on the Affidavits to their Lawyers and the courts.

All I'm saying is to take your case to a good lawyer for a consultation. You may be better off dealing with this legally than you think.

BK in TX is just government supervised refinancing. A lot of people file BK thinking they're escaping debt and end up screwing themselves later on because they can't afford it.
