YUP, that's about the size of it, Cat. I have seen the old 50% up front demand as well. AND NOW the dentists in my town are demanding that you pay 100% even when they know your insurance will pay it all. You have to pay them, then get reimbursed by the insurance company. This is for all customer, new and old alike. Doesn't matter that you've been with them since you were a kid, or that your family has been going to them for several generations.
