State garnishment law says: ( See Federal Law. County and state employees may be garnished. ) Do they know where you work. Just for your info. If they do garnish and you either quit or loose your job for any reason, it is up to them to find your new place of employment and file the paper work again. All of this does cost money, and garnishment is usually limited to 25% of net in most states. Soooo, garnishment is not the ideal way to collect on a judgement.
