There is not set timeline for them to provide validation, per se. However, if they *don't* provide validation within 30 days of receipt of your request, you can dispute any tradelines they may have on your credit report and get them deleted.

Also, if they contact you again ANYTIME after receipt of your validation request without providing validation, you may sue them for violation of the FDCPA for continued collection activities. They cannot continue attempts at collection without validating the debt.

I do hope you sent your request CRRR, so that you can prove when they got it. :-)
