am ashamed for waiting so long to check out

Unfortunately, I sent this group a check in
January 2004 ffor more than $1,600. Today, I
received a call from one of their "lawyers,"
saying they were preparing to sue me for
breach of contract with the Providian group, for
a past due credit card bill.
Although the bill was paid in full (and we have
a letter from the Lenahan group stating so),
some telemarketer type opted to call my office
today and attempted to intimidate me into
paying another $600 for legal fees of some
sort. Unfortunately, I lost my temper with this
individual, but I am filing a few complaints. I
will keep you posted on my progress.
