WHERE did you find that in the FCRA that positive tradelines HAVE to be deleted after ten years? The FCRA states that bankruptcies can remain on your report for ten years, but I have NEVER seen anything in the FCRA that gives a timeline for anything but "adverse" information. Now, if you should *choose* to dispute a positive tradeline, I'm sure the CRA would be more than happy to delete it. But WHY would you want to delete a positive tradeline, particularly if it's one with a long history? Your scores would plummet automatically. And I have plenty of positive closed tradelines in my report that are well over ten years. I have no intention of messing with them!
