I totally ignored CAs, all of their threats. I had 13 cards and only 1 sued. CAs pay pennies on the dollar for these accounts, I think your chances of not being sued are very good unless you have attachable assets that they know about.
CAs lie and threaten, it's the way they work. You can ignore them, but if you are served with a summons, you must answer immediately. If they sue and you do not answer, they will get a default judgement. Good Luck
