Yeah,

Forget security clearance. If a mortgage broker - remember, considered expert in his field - plays Pollyanna games, sanctimoniously chiding you for thirty year old blotches on a credit report, Heaven knows what else he's into. Peeping Tommery, mayhaps? Panty stealing? ( An early sign of serial killers.)
This fulminating chancre in a banker's cheap suit knows the law, in both letter and spirit. Seven years is just that. Whether it falls off automatically, with help from the consumer, or by magic as the scabrous covering of a mastoidal lesion, the point is after seven years it's considered of minimal,if any, signifigance.
Let this pig-poop-face make something of it with someone else, not you. Instinct sez this pylonidal cyst is working a good one, at your expense. Ditch him as you would a small pox blanket.

Pylonidally,

Keyser Soze
