OH -MY - GOD !! PLEASE - tell us what state you're in !!

You didn't mention what state you're in, but I sure hope you're in NC so Begoodorelse can help you. If you aren't you need to do something else besides calling the police and getting a new lawyer.

You need to call the courthouse ASAP and find out if any lawsuit has been filed against you. In most states, pre-judgment siezure of assets is NOT allowed.

IF there's a judgement, then you're in a whole new arena of the circus and you must fight a different way. You would need to immediately appeal the levy on your accounts with the court. Upton Cohen and Slamowitz doesn't get the money right away in a bank levy, the bank freezes accounts per a court order and then the funds are held for a period of time. That time period is for you to have the chance to appeal. (Begoodorelse, correct me if I'm off-base here.)

On the other hand, if there is NO judgement, then you're dealing with outright grand larceny and you must attack them as the CRIMINALS that they are.
