And guess what? Attorneys don't care to take collection cases when you don't have a case - there isn't enough in it for them. CA's sue and win if you are still inside SOL. Advice I've gotten is to try to get their scum lawyer to strike a deal with me. I was hoping an attorney would do that. So, I'm doing what I should have done three years ago and refinancing my house rather than having a lien put on it and whatever other godawful things these snakes can do - or take.

Laying low and hoping for the best works great till the summons is served. From the recent posts, I'm noticing CA's are suing at a much faster pace than before.

So much for laying low and not trying to settle with vermin CA's. It can come back to bite you when you least expect it, and legal help is hard to find if you don't have the SOL defense.
