My creditors meeting only took about 10 minutes. I was under oath. Repeated my name social etc. All of my assets were exempt though. Pretty cut and dry. Sears really took back their used appliances?? Hmmmm. Wouldn't think it would be worth the cost of having them picked up. Not worth much used. My creditors hearing was more private. There was a room full of people, but we were called into a private room case by case. The only one in the room was me, the trustee, my attorney and my husband. I live in a large city, so my discharge came in the mail. I did not see a judge at all.
