CA reporting $ amt different from VOD

Requested VOD from CA. They forwarded statement from MD's office. Showing he referred to CA before receiving insurance payment. Insurance pymt came 7 months after service. There was a $27 dollar balance but they were reporting over $100 due. What should be my next step?
