Hi, JKelly. Thanks for your reply. :) I saw your post from a couple of days ago where you mentioned protecting the checking accounts. Do you recall what law or loophole makes it possible for creditors to freeze a Texas checking account? Do you know if closing my current account and opening another with the same finanical institution would be good enough? My current credit union is so very conveinent for me. Also, I'm not married, so I couldn't use another person's name. Thanks again.
