Hi WhyChat I have a ? regarding the SOL letter to CA.
I have been contacted by another CA on an cc account that I think was one of the ones that Platnum Financail tried to sue me on last year, that was dismissed by the Planitiff before trial. I suspect it must have then be sold to Asset. The problem is that the account # and $ amounts match nothing I have on record. I know that ANYTHING that anybody is contacting me on anymore is past the OH 4 yr SOL, incluidng this contact which they admitedly say was charged off in 1998.
On the SOL letter instead of listing the specific account number and date, ( I just do not know what account they are talking about) can I write something to the effect that, I know that any account that you are contactng me on is past SOL?? If not any
suggestions?
