MRS Associates, Inc., was founded and incorporated
in New Jersey in 1991 by Saul Freedman

Go to www.thecomplaintstation.com and search for MRS Associates. Here are a couple of examples

“MRS started calling me about a year ago. They wanted me to come up with a large some of money to put down on a debt I owe. Though I offered to make small monthly payments, they refused my payments. It ended up resulting in just yesterday when they blew it. Mr. Alex Sloan decided to threaten with judgments/liens against my property, or to garnish my wages. He also told me that I was committing a crime by not paying them the way they wanted me to. Bottom line is I'm in Texas, which they know, and this stuff doesn't fly here. I am filing a complaint with the attorney general's office. He hung up on my friend who works in collections, 3 different times. And when we called to speak with his supervisor he intercepted the call. Plain and simple, these people are rude, abusive, and are breaking several laws in both the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and in the Texas Debt Collection Act. You can read the Fair Debt Collection Act at the following website: www.ftc.gov. Just do a search for the words "fair debt".”

“Just today I received a phone call from MRS associates about a debt I owed. I offered them small monthly payments and a man named jason refused. The call was intercepted by a man named John who decided to take it upon himself to belittle me and call me names including a "liar" and a "loser." Not to mention insinuating that one of my charges was from a "gay bar." He also inquired about my family and their previous bankruptcy by asking what they filed for. He said that I was committing fraud which I hadn't. I am a young college student with very little to my name. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I will contact the MA attorney general's office about MRS being registered. Any further help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.”

Bud Says...

Brain dead debt collectors with a street mentality.

These are VERY nasty people who go to no end with their lies and intimidation, (not to metion their b.s..

These collectors give ALL debt collectors a bad reputation. There is no lie they will not tell, everyone they talk to is about to: A)be arrested b) Have their wages garnished c) have a judgment levied against them d) all of the above.

MRS is infested with KING SIZED dumpster trash that belongs in a jail cell. NOTHING they say or do is to be believed or trusted. My guess is they are all orphans because at some point, they all sold their mother's for cash! Stay FAR away from these misfits of society, they are as BAD as debt collectors can be!!
