There is some ongoing discussion about WA's SOL. However, it is NOT a whacko internet thing. The WA statutes don't specifically refer to CC's as open-ended (they are), but instead use the alternate language of a 'contract not in writing'.

Per the definitions of an open-ended account vs. a written contract in the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), a credit card is NOT a written contract.
