I send my attorney asset cases all the time. They generally give in except for one case he has now. They will try the written contract even though they know they are lying. Your best thing is to follow whychats advice and file a counterclaim for $1000 for filing suit on a time barred debt. Look up kimber caselaw which you can ask for on creditboards.com. Make sure you file your counterclaim. they may then turn around and try to drop the case but keep on those scumbags and make them pay.
