Have you actually had a lawsuit FILED against you? Is this for a credit card debt? When was the last time you paid the original creditor on this debt?Isthe collection agency a Me. agency?

Me. has a VERY strict consumer protection law, (see link below)
Even IF you have been sued, the original creditor MUST prove hey sent you the required notices.

IF you did get a judgment against you, your earned income credit can not be taken, and your wages can not be garnished unless you are earning more than 40X the Federal minimum wage weekly from any ONE job.

I suggest you send a validation/cease and desist/dispute to all your creditors if there is no way they can successfully sue you and gain anything by it.
