RELAX. I am going to give you a link to Florida exemptions for bk, which is the same for judgements. So, if it is exempt from bk, it is also exempt from judgement. http://www.bankruptcyaction.com/flexemptions.htm

You probably know that they can not touch your home. The vehicle is in your name only (can't touch it). As far as household items, if you are not importing fine art from Europe, not to worry. I filed bk, in Pa. I have a house full of normal "stuff", TV, DVD, computer. I think we have the most of it. My attorney told me that any one item a SHERIFF SALE(very low price) could be valued up to 400.00. So, most of what we Average Joes have in our homes is worth doodley at sheriff sale. Back to you. What they will be looking for are bank accounts, expensive jewelry, if your own a vacation house (half hers) things like that. Not looking at household items. They may garnish her wages, now or in the future. Your wife might want to consider individual bankrupcy, the judgement can be vacated in a bk. So, if your wife has a job, they will probably go for wage garnishment. She might be required to disclose all of her assets. We would never tell anyone to lie about anything in court, but use good common sense. Even diamonds are not worth a lot when sold at sheriff sale. Keep in mind, you are looking at sheriff sale prices.

I posted to you in an effort to relieve your mind quickly, but I would recommend that you speak with a consumer attorney if possible. It is always wise to consult with an attorney if at all possible. You may be able to get a free consultation. Or, your wife might want to do the individual bk which will not effect you at all. Good Luck.
