Airics it is my understanding here in Ohio a judgement can run for 21yrs but it must be renewed every 5 years during that 21 year period.
If they did not renew I think it is dead at the end of wahtever 5 year period they end with.
I am not a lawyer, that is just how I understand it works here in Ohio. Also I do not think you get a notice when and if they renew. You will have to go to the court house and see if they renewed it, and make sure they did it timely.
