Lets see, looked into ATT GO Phone. No deposit. Pay for phone up front. But I don't like automatic debting from my account. the minutes you do get cost more. On the plus side after a year they will give you a real account no matter what your credit looks like.

The other pay as you go's have expensive minutes and expensive phones.

I think sprint will give almost anyone a contract but service in my area realy sucks if at all.

Verizon wireless is preferable to me because of good service in my area and free in network calling. ya see I have a number of friends and family on VZW and I would truly save on minutes that way. We do realy use the minutes at least when I was last connected.

I appreciate all your suggestions on other carriers but you know how it is when you set your mind on something.
