IF you have any defenses, bring copies of all supporting documentation with you - make sure you have one for the court and one for yourself- probably should give one to the other side as well.

They will go first- then present your side.

Lawyers take yellow legal pads- draw a line down it vertically and write down the other sides statements on the left. Then they go through and respond to each one on the right side.

If you lose, you can always set up a payment plan through the court- you might be able to get them to withhold the judgment. As long as you make the payments as agreed, the judgment might not ever appear on your report.

You have to ask. If you don't ask for it, you won't get it. Good luck
