I am not a lawyer, but I have taken legal research classes. Have you tried one of the general encyclopedias in the law library- if you do a general search, it may help you to narrow down the search terms. Really good lawyers and paralegals are adept at finding case law that is not obvious.

Another way to search is the annotated statutes- this would give you the case law that modified the original law.

Best thing is to go the law library and start searching the books- general first and then more specific. Ask the librarians for help - they are usually more than happy to help you locate the law, although they are most likely prohibited from giving any kind of advice.

Also, if using case law in your particular situation, make sure that you read up on the correct way to present to the court. Basically, you lay out the elements and then show how your case matches that case. It is very rare to find a case that exactly matches- but you can show how yours is similar. Case law is tricky to use, so you might want to get some help using it.

Good luck.
